Choose Your POCUS Module

Each course is a focused, one-day intensive — 8 hours of hands-on POCUS training in one clinical domain. Complete all four to build a comprehensive skill set across cardiac, pulmonary, abdominal, and vascular applications.

Focused Cardiac Ultrasound course Now Enrolling · Summer 2025

Course 01

Focused Cardiac Ultrasound

Master bedside cardiac assessment: LV/RV function, pericardial effusion, tamponade physiology, and volume responsiveness. Built for acute care providers who need answers now, not tomorrow's echo report.

Lung and Pleural Ultrasound course Coming Soon

Course 02

Lung & Pleural Ultrasound

Identify pneumothorax, pleural effusion, consolidation, and interstitial syndromes at the bedside. Learn when to trust the probe over the chest X-ray — and when the two should agree.

FAST and Abdominal POCUS course Coming Soon

Course 03

FAST & Abdominal POCUS

Rapid trauma assessment plus abdominal applications: aortic aneurysm screening, bladder, biliary, and procedural guidance for thoracentesis and paracentesis. High-yield ICU and emergency applications.

Vascular Access and Guidance course Coming Soon

Course 04

Vascular Access & Guidance

Ultrasound-guided central and peripheral venous access, arterial lines, and procedural guidance. Reduce complications, increase first-pass success, and make every line placement safer for your patients.

No Extras. No Hidden Fees.

At Mercer University, he serves as Clinical Assistant Professor and Course Director for POCUS education within the PA program curriculum — building one of the most comprehensive ultrasound programs in any PA school in the country. He has been involved with the Society of Point of Care Ultrasound since its founding and served on its leadership board as Director at Large.

  • Fellow, American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP) — among the highest honors in pulmonary and critical care medicine
  • Distinguished Fellow, American Academy of Physician Associates (DFAAPA)
